Jonathan Taylor
President and CEO
Jonathan combined his experience in both business operations and
technology innovation to found Voxeo in 1999. Under his guidance,
Voxeo has seen triple-digit revenue growth for four consecutive
years and has been profitable since January, 2004.
Prior to Voxeo, Jonathan founded and helped bring three additional
software and
infrastructure service companies to profitability.
From 1995 to 1997, Jonathan was the founder and President of
InterResearch
and Development Group (IRdg), Inc. IRdg created and licensed
iPost - the first internet powered OEM unified messaging solution - to leading
telecommunications providers including Ericsson, Motorola and Unisys.
IRdg was acquired by Elron Electronic Industries
(Nasdq: ELRN)
subsidiary MediaGate in 1997.
Prior to IRdg, Jonathan helped relaunch Columbia Data Products
(CDP),
Inc. - manufacturer of the first IBM compatible computer - with
an emphasis on OEM storage technology. Since its
relaunch, CDP has been named one of the 100 fastest growing
private companies by Inc. magazine. Jonathan serves on the boards
of Voxeo and Columbia Data Products.
Dr. Jonathan Alcantara
COO, Voxeo Europe Ltd.
Jonathan manages customer relationships for Voxeo in Europe and is responsible
for helping to strengthen Voxeo's focus on non-English language products and
services. Previously Dr. Alcantara co-founded and was the CEO of Voxpilot,
the first pan-European VoiceXML hosting service. Voxpilot was sold to
Paris-based Eureka Soft in 2004.
Prior to Voxpilot, Dr. Alcantara was the first European employee at Nuance,
the world's largest provider of speech technology for business. Jonathan has led
highly successful voice development and deployment projects for customers
including the New York Stock Exchange, T-Mobile, and UPS. Jonathan is an expert
in speech technologies and has a doctorate in Linguistics from Cornell University.
John Amein
Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships
John drives Voxeo's strategic relationships with key industry business and technology partners.
John has over 20 years experience in computer telephony and voice applications. Most recently, John was the founder and CEO
of VoiceReady, where he delivered the first OEM software
to enable rapid speech application development via an intuitive web interface.
Voxeo acquired VoiceReady in July, 2006. Prior to VoiceReady, John served as CEO of NetBytel, Inc, resulting in a
successful sale of the business to Tuvox in 2005. NetByTel was a pioneer in the field of hosted speech applications.
From 1990 to 2003, John served in a variety of sales and marketing leadership roles for Dialogic Corporation, which was
acquired by Intel in 2000. At Dialogic he advanced from managing all Eastern US sales, to all European marketing, to all
products as VP of Product Management in less than five years.
John graduated from Stanford University with a master of science in electrical
engineering.
Lincoln Anthony
Vice President, Network Engineering
Lincoln is responsible for the engineering and construction of Voxeo's U.S. and international IVR hosting and VOIP network and facilities.
Lincoln was previously in charge of server support at Hughes, where he
deployed and managed IT services for nearly 10,000 x86 platforms and
over 9,000 users. Prior to Hughes, Lincoln designed, deployed, and
managed secure network infrastructure for telecom and financial
services companies including
Sprint, Sears, Hamilton Shurm & Gray, and Heron Network Services.
Lincoln has 18 years of experience in IT operations and management,
and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting with a minor
in computer science from the University of Central Florida.
His dual financial and computer science background makes him uniquely
qualified to deliver financial grade information security solutions,
including IT compliance with both Sarbanes-Oxley regulatory and ISO 17799 standard audits and requirements.
RJ Auburn
Chief Technology Officer
RJ drives Voxeo's technology
leadership in the internet and voice solution industries, and also
leads the research, evaluation, and design of Voxeo's carrier class Voice Centers.
RJ is Editor and Chair of the W3C Call Control XML (CCXML)
standard and working group, and oversees Voxeo's leadership contribution
to VoiceXML, ENUM/DNS, and other industry standards. RJ is also an acknowledged
expert in the fields of voice recognition, call center integration, and call
control and conferencing.
Prior to Voxeo, RJ was a Senior Consultant at Quality Call Solutions, a
leading supplier of IVR and CTI solutions for the enterprise call center market.
RJ frequently speaks at technology conferences throughout the United States.
Ryan Campbell
Senior Vice President, Product Delivery
Ryan is responsible for quality assurance, solution delivery, and support of Voxeo's
premise and hosted products and services.
Ryan is a co-founder of Voxeo
and has been delivering carrier-class telephony platforms for over 10 years.
Prior to starting Voxeo, Ryan was Director of Engineering at IRdg,
Inc. where he led the development of iPost, the first carrier-class
internet unified messaging platform. Ryan graduated from the
University of Central Florida with a bachelor's degree in computer
science, specializing in artificial intelligence.
Stephen Neish
CFO, Voxeo Corporation; Managing Director, Voxeo Europe Limited
Stephen heads Voxeo's finance and administration team in the US and runs Voxeo's
European subsidiary Voxeo Europe Limited, headquartered in London.
Prior to joining Voxeo Stephen was Vice President, Finance and Business Development
at software company Mirronex Technologies, where he was responsible for negotiating
strategic relationships with Yahoo! and Bank of America, among others.
Previously, he worked for British entrepreneur Richard Branson at Virgin
Express, the Virgin Group's low-cost airline for Europe, where he was
responsible for capacity planning and business process analysis. Stephen
spent his early career as an investment banker in the mergers and acquisitions
group at National Westminster Bank in London, and in the corporate tax division
of Pricewaterhouse Coopers. He has also served as the US Editor of both Corporate
Finance magazine and Global M&A magazine and is the author of numerous articles
on capital structure and business process improvement.
Stephen holds a degree in economics and finance from the University of London
and an MBA cum laude from the University of Chicago.
James G. Neumann
Vice President, Customer Engineering & Customer Service
Jim leads Voxeo's renowned Extreme Support Customer Service and Account Management teams,
where he ensures that our customers and partners receive best-in-class development and deployment support.
Most recently Jim was the VP of Global Services for Openwave Systems (Nasdaq: OPWV), a
leading innovator of software products and services for the communication industry.
Prior to Openwave, Jim was the Vice President of Latin America Product Support and
Premium Services for Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL), the world's largest enterprise software
company. Jim has 33 years of Customer service experience, including 26 acquired while
working for Digital Equipment Corporation.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Boston
University (Summa Cum Laude) and a Masters of Business Administration from Northeastern University.
Daniel Polfer
Vice President, Engineering
Dan is responsible for the development of Voxeo's premise and hosted products and services.
Over the last 12 years Dan has led the development of industry-defining multimedia and
storage applications for Yahoo!, Musicmatch, and Roxio. In 1995 he founded Moxie Technologies,
which developed the most widely used CD/DVD recording engine in the world. Moxie Technologies
was acquired by Musicmatch in 2000, which was than acquired by Yahoo! in 2004. As the VP of
OEM Engineering at Musicmatch and Director of Engineering at Yahoo!, Dan managed the
development and deployment of solutions to over 80 retail and OEM partners.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Rollins College.
